About kosmos
kosmos is an online trading card game that is focused around kpop! It is made with love by long time kpop stans for other kpop stans who share our passion! We offer decks ranging from 10 to 25 cards in different categories like music videos, artist decks, photoshoots, and more! The objective is to collect, trade and earn cards and master decks to gain even more. We also offer a variety of other activities so it hopefully never gets boring here.
We allow images from various origins, like official photos, fantaken images or really anything that may fit! We do not allow fanart, AI art or any other manipulated photos and artwork. We have a few guidelines that limit who is allowed on kosmos, but as long as its widely regarded as kpop it's good to go and probably able to be found on here!
kosmos is a semi-automated website-based TCG. It is powered by Stack - with the help of it's creator Aki. Stack is an online TCG management system that helps us run things more smoothly. Our updates are every Friday and on the 1st of every new month (unless those dates are very close together so we combine them for the 1st of the month). Almost all services and activities are done over the main page - or the forum. And are either automated or managed by the admins - so in either case please be patient with us and kosmos!
All current and future members are required to have their own trade post to display and keep track of their cards and everything else they get from kosmos. We keep onsite logs of almost everything here on kosmos - but "two are better than one"! If we find any errors and mistakes we are allowed to take measures to ensure everything runs smoothly and correctly.
We always try to ensure everything on kosmos happens fairly and without discrimination. Haylee and Mio are two very friendly admins, who are always open to conversation!
The first time the idea for our own TCG had ever been brought up was back in 2019. A whole 7 years ago now! It was after playing the old kpop TCG Idolise for about a year at that point. Since Idolise was alive and well we didn't immediately act upon that idea. But we never forgot about our plan! Idolise was more than enough work back then anyway. We still always continued to gather inspirations until we finally came up with our first mockup of a card template in 2020. Nothing was set in stone, yet. And with Starlight by Cassidy opening in 2020 we put our plans on hold for a little bit longer! And as always life has a way to get in the way of things. We always talked about getting back to work on it someday. And in 2025 we finally seriously discussed the possibility of opening our own TCG. So we got help from Aki and set up Stack ourselves for the very first time. Getting our own host like actual admins! Sadly we didn't manage to finish in time to open before 2026, but we did finally open for pre-prejoin in January of 2026! kosmos finally felt real and our baby was ready to open soon enough!
And we both hope kosmos will be fun for everyone playing and we will be able to keep it open for as long as possible! We put all our blood, sweat and tears into our precious baby.
